Beth Crane - Board Chair

Beth graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Communications and has over 10 years of fundraising and donor relations management experience in both the political and non-profit sectors. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter in Northern Virginia.

Beth Frigalo McGinn - Director

Beth has over 15 years experience in public affairs and media relations. She worked as Press Secretary for several Members of Congress and served as Communications Director for the House Judiciary Committee and the American Road and Transportation Builders Association in Washington, D.C. Beth is also Ellie’s mom and co-founder of A Cure for Ellie.

Edward Blakely - Board Chair

Ed is a retired attorney in Missouri. He practiced law for over 2 years at the prestigious law firm of Lashly & Baer in St Louis where he specialized in school law and civil litigation. After retiring early due to health reasons, he practiced part time pro bono criminal and traffic law in Columbia, Missouri. He currently lives independently in the home he built for himself to accommodate the limitations imposed by LBSL. He enjoys sports, volunteering in civic activities and spending time with Dawn, his life partner of 15 years.

Michael McGinn - Director

Michael is Senior Associate at international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton where he specializes in corporate strategy and project management. He is also Ellie’s father and co-founder of A Cure for Ellie.

Lance Stern - Director

Lance is Managing Director at DigMEE Partners, an e-commerce consulting firm based in Southern California. He and his wife Morgan have four children, two of whom are impacted by LBSL.

Chris Gulugian - Director

Chris is Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Cross Screen Media. Over the years he has served as a strategist and consultant to numerous high-level political campaigns across the country. Chris and his family of three live in Northern Virginia.

Megan Mitchell - Member

Megan previously served in high-level communication positions within the federal government, including as Press Secretary to the Vice President of the United States and Communications Director for the United States Senate Majority Leader. Megan currently lives in New Mexico with her family and holds an elected post on the Cimarron County School Board.
